A recent article in Accounting Today reported on a survey by the payroll firm Paychex. It said that small business owners wanted tax reform to be the main legislative priority for the government, by a wide margin. The other concerns were repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act (15%), which tied with infrastructure, and reduction of regulations, which came in at 9%. All three of those concerns pale in comparison to tax reform, which was mentioned as a top concern by 41% of the respondents.

What do you think? If you are a small business owner and were given a choice among Tax Reform, Healthcare, Infrastructure or Reduction of Regulations, what would be your number one priority?
