The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) has been the professional organization serving the industry for over 100 years. Recently, Uselton Clay & Bright was recognized as a “Full Membership Firm”, meaning all the qualifying CPAs in the firm are members of the Society. That places us in the top 20% of the 750 firms that count themselves as members of the TSCPA.
TSCPA provides service, support and advocacy for Certified Public Accountants throughout the state. It encourages young people who want to go into the profession, as well as providing continuing education for those who have chosen accounting as a career. Perhaps you don’t know what is involved in becoming a CPA, versus someone who merely works in accounting or does taxes.
The prestigious CPA designation means that the individual has completed 150 college credit hours, as well as having at least one year of experience in accounting and passed the Uniform CPA Examination and the Ethics Examination. We’re proud of the professional service we offer to you, and that every one of the CPAs in our firm is actively involved in TSCPA.
